The Franciscan Daughters of Mary are Pro-Life Missionaries founded to uphold the dignity of every human life from the moment of conception until natural death in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
As pro-life contemplatives in action, the Daughter’s apostolic works include; daily prayers for priests, crisis pregnancy & community outreach, providing nutrition to needy friends and neighbors, giving free medical assistance to the uninsured, teaching the Catholic faith to young people and being beacon of hope and a light for "Life" in our present "Culture of Death."
Our prayer life consists of daily Mass, daily Eucharistic Adoration, Liturgy of the Hours, Devotional Prayers, weekly prayer & praise with neighbors at our Mission, and personal prayer.
The Daughters seek to be instruments of God's peace, sowing love where there is hatred, pardon where there is injury, faith where there is doubt, hope where there is despair, light where there is darkness, and joy where there is sadness. Through prayer in union with Jesus Christ, each Daughter makes herself ready to console rather than be consoled, understand rather than be understood, love rather than be loved and die to self, so to be born to eternal life.
