Introduction to the Pilgrimage of Assisi
In these difficult times of the pandemic, it would be good to follow in the footsteps of a saint who aided people who suffered from plagues and incurable illnesses, who knew many people who died, old and young, who knew fellow countrymen who spent months and years of inactivity in prisons, and who himself experienced physical and spiritual sufferings. Perhaps he can help us to know what God is doing in us at this time. That saint is Francis; his city is Assisi.
