The Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family is a religious order of sisters founded by Blessed Boleslawa Lament in 1905 in Mohylew, Russia. The charism of the congregation is to work for the unity of Christ’s Church through prayer, education, parish work, and healthcare. In choosing the charism for the congregation, Blessed Boleslawa wanted to fulfill the greatest desire of Jesus’ Heart expressed during the prayer of Last Supper: “that they all be one…” (J 17:21)

Our spirituality is that of the Holy Family: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph and we want to bring the values of their profound life to others in the world. We are eager to help the ill, lonely, and suffering; to bring into their lives forgiveness, hope, and joy. We also serve children and youth by education in schools, after school care, retreats, and other forms of evangelization.

Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family work currently in Europe, Africa, and  United States. We pray that many young women will hear God’s call inviting them to live our charism of serving God and bringing the unity of Christ’s Church to fulfillment.
