Called by Love, a new CMSWR program first offered in 2023, is designed to bring together young sisters (perpetually professed in the last 5 years) from across CMSWR communities for a weekend of talks, prayer, reflection, and sharing on their call as consecrated women religious in the Church. The weekend will also include time for informal conversation and recreation.
This year’s program, on the theme Religious Life: A Pathway to Beatitude, will feature talks by Father Thomas Aquinas Pickett, O.P., a Dominican Friar from the Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, and Mother Mary Christa Nutt, R.S.M. from the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan.
Registration is limited to 40 sisters. We ask that no more than 4 sisters from any one community register.
Schedule: The program will begin Friday, October 11th at 5:00 p.m. with Vespers, followed by dinner and evening activities. The program will conclude on Monday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. (after lunch).
Registration fee: Registration is $300 per person and includes all food and lodging at the Conference Center. All rooms will be single occupancy.
Parking: Free parking is available for those who are driving.
Payment: Payment may be made by check or credit card. Credit card fees will apply.
Airline Travel: If you are flying, please plan to use the Nashville International Airport (BNA). We will provide transportation to and from the airport if needed. Otherwise, you may take a taxi or Uber to the Siena Hall Conference Center, located at 4210 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN.
